The primary audiences are college bound high school students, college students, church leaders and parents. Others have benefited as well including educators, guidance counselors, professors and pastors.

Derek does not have a firmly set speaker’s fee and weighs each request based on availability. CPYU does, however, require that his travel expenses be fully covered. This may include airfare, ground transportation, lodging, and meals.
